Starbucks in Bellingham

PLEASE NOTE
The stores pictured below are labeled with information that comes directly from the official Starbucks web site. The only alterations I have made are to remove certain punctuation marks. Please do not report any errors in the names or spellings of streets or cities to me, but rather to Starbucks. Once they fix the error on their end, my database will pick it up. I will fill missing photograph dates as I have time, and I will continue to try and obtain store opening dates.

Haggens - Bellingham

This is the first Haggen store, at this location (if not in this building) since 1933. The Starbucks inside hasn't been around that long--only since 1989, but they must have it it off pretty well since, because all the Haggen stores seem to have a Starbucks inside.

Oh, and this was also the first Starbucks location in Bellingham.

This location, in the town of Anacortes on Fidalgo Island, is a mere 20 miles from Victoria, British Columbia. But it will take more than 15 minutes to get there, because the trip involves both a ferry trip and an international border crossing. If I'm lucky, I'll avoid the body cavity search that has surely increased in frequency with the rise in smuggling of "BC Bud", a strain of marijuana touted as the most potent around. Not that I would know anything about that.

The last Starbucks along I-5 before leaving the U.S. and entering Canada. Not that you're out of luck when you cross the border--there's dozens around Vancouver.

I think I've seen almost all the Starbucks locations in Haggens grocery stores so far, and this is the only one with any type of floor space and comfortable seating.

The list below is not meant to be a complete list of licensed stores. Some licensed stores are not listed on the Starbucks web site, and some of the stores listed below might have closed. That's not really important. I only keep track of them so I know which ones I don't need to visit. But if you know for certain that any of these are actually operated by Starbucks, please let me know (and send me a phone # so I can double-confirm).
