This store is known as Checkpoint Charlie because of it is just a block away from the infamous border crossing. I did not find any photos or other historical artifacts inside the store. Perhaps they were deemed unnecessary because just a block away, past the checkpoint (the guard house is still there) is the outdoor Checkpoint Gallery giving an extensive history lesson in the span of two sides of the entire block.
