This store is quite unusual. Outside you will only see the Starbucks logo, no sign, and the actual entryway is hard to spot. Once you enter, you do not see the lobby, but rather a staircase. Once you get to the end, you will turn right and walk up another staircase into the lobby, which is fairly small. This fantastic store sits in the Wanhua Lin House, a historic building dating back to 1935 and thus cannot have a full sign, only the Siren logo, in muted colours, on a back exterior wall. Inside you will see some truly unusual features, including a quilted Siren, an architectural diagram of the building, and a small room containing a record player and TV monitor. This store, fully inside the hotel, is unusual for a number of reasons besides the beautiful artwork. While the Starbucks can be accessed from the door inside the hotel, in order to exit through that door, one needs a hotel keycard. The store does have doors to the outside, but according to one article, the Starbucks is closed to the public during breakfast hours (but otherwise open).
