Starbucks in Somerset

PLEASE NOTE
The stores pictured below are labeled with information that comes directly from the official Starbucks web site. The only alterations I have made are to remove certain punctuation marks. Please do not report any errors in the names or spellings of streets or cities to me, but rather to Starbucks. Once they fix the error on their end, my database will pick it up. I will fill missing photograph dates as I have time, and I will continue to try and obtain store opening dates.

Bristol - Cabot Circus (70)

OPENED: 25 September 2008, PHOTO: 18 June 2009

Posh, posh, posh was what came to mind when I entered this store. Which raises the question--has Victoria Beckham ever been here?

OPENED: 01 January 1999, PHOTO: ? ? 2009, ORIGINAL VISIT: 22 May 1999

One of the oldest stores in Britain, this one sits in a very old building in a very old and historic town that draws countless tourists. Standout features of the store include wooden stairs and a special counter that looks like it is used for dispensing beans (I forgot to ask).

Sit next to the window at this store, and you can have a view of the river and the swans that populate it. If you visit soon, you can see a sign out on the sidewalk next to the river commemorating 200 years of Bristol's "floating harbour".

Wells - High St 28, Wells

OPENED: 14 February 2006, PHOTO: 18 June 2009

This store sits in Wells, the smallest city in England, and all of Europe. Not a town or village, mind you, but a city--that is a specific designation.

Yeovil - Vicarage Walk, Yeovil

OPENED: ?? March 2008, PHOTO: ? June 2009

This store is unusual because most of the stores in smaller English towns are not built with so much metal and glass. I think this one is more like an American Starbucks.
