The photograph from 1932 is a great historical touch, as is the poster of the old Palisades Amusement Park. But perhaps the most the drawing of the G.W. Bridge, in colored chalk, on the Coffee of the Day sign. I hope they photograph that drawing before it is eventually erased. |

The building used to be a gas station, and when I visited the manager was still trying to find out what is was prior to that. Notice the big wooden Starbucks sign out front--this is only the second such sign I've seen. Oh, and let me not forget to mention that Glen Rock is a community where the kids feel comfortable leaving their bicycles unlocked out front. Would that the rest of the world were like that. |
