Starbucks in Austria

PUT DOWN THE PLASTIC

PLEASE NOTE
The stores pictured below are labeled with information that comes directly from the official Starbucks web site. The only alterations I have made are to remove certain punctuation marks. Please report any naming errors directly to Starbucks. Once they fix the error on their end, my database will pick it up. However, if you know any of the opening/closing dates I am missing, please send them to me.

Kaerntnerstrasse

This store, the closest to Albertina (art museum), has a look that is almost industrial, wiht thick metal beams holding up the second floor, and also large grey pipes place prominently throughout the store.

Oh, yeah, it's the first in Austria, too!!!

Karlsplatz Hauptpassage

Is this store correct? It opened when I visited Vienna and was not yet listed on the web site, so I could notate an official name.

Mariahilfer Strasse

Michaelerplatz

This store, though very small, has decor that appears a little more upscale than average. A unique feature is a very small seating room in back that has some kind of red-tinged mood lighting. The air is not as fresh as for the pation seating, because the room does not get ventilation, but there is a definite sense of privacy if that is what you seek.

Stores Closed Before I Could Visit

The following stores are ones that I was not able to visit before they closed. Each of these stores represents the loss of a small piece of my soul. If I miss enough stores, I will eventually lose all of my soul and become like one of the walking dead. I appeal to Starbucks to alert me ahead of time before a store closes so that I will not lose my soul in its entirety.
